People decide to tell their stories for many different reasons. Some people want to inspire or help others, raise awareness of a campaign or charity, remember a loved one or recognise an achievement. Whatever your reason, my aim is to make telling your story as simple and enjoyable as possible.
Read the testimonials below to see what other women and men felt about telling their stories to me.
Sandra Adams
“Last year my son Nick was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he needed drugs that were not available on the NHS to prolong his life. Sarah helped us in various ways – she wrote an article for us which was published in a national newspaper voicing Nick’s plight. Because of this we were able to raise his profile and that of other kidney cancer sufferers. The publicity we received led on to TV appearances and enabled us to obtain the drugs which bought Nick an extra 10 months of life. We will always be grateful for the help and support Sarah gave us during that time.”
Nick Adams’ story was published in the Daily Express in March 2007. It was also subsequently featured on regional television and radio news.
Nadine Hakney
“When Sarah first contacted me regarding my weight loss story, I was concerned that I would not be portrayed in an inspirational, positive light. However after chatting for a few minutes, I realised that Sarah was sensitive to my experiences and listened carefully to all that I had to say.
"Sarah asked questions to enable me to express my views more clearly and concisely and with a greater degree of accuracy.
"The interviews were easy as it felt like I was chatting to a friend – yet she knew not to publish all that I divulged! The finished result was a fantastic portrayal of my story and I am so glad that I had Sarah representing me.”
“Sarah really put me at easy and made me feel comfortable about telling her my weight loss story. When the feature was published, I was very impressed with the way it was worded and it was a true representation of what I’d said. The whole experience was very enjoyable and I was happy to show off both features to my family and friends. I’ve even filed a copy away to show my children when they are older! I’m very proud to have had my story published - it’s a happy memory I’ll never forget.”

Sarah’s story will soon be published in Bella magazine.
Liz Clark
“My name is Liz Clark. I am the leading female Personal Safety Consultant in the UK. I have spoken to Sarah Winstanley on quite a few occasions regarding various features in my line work. She has been very professional and understanding and more importantly has listened to my story and not added or glorified the events. I would highly recommend and trust Sarah for the work she does and wish her the very best of luck in helping others tell their story.”
