Hi, Here’s a little bit about me...I’m a freelance journalist and feature writer with over 13 years experience.

I started my career on a local newspaper and soon rose through the ranks to become editor. Whilst there, I wrote my first ever feature for a women’s magazine – it was about a woman who got married in a black wedding dress and it was published in Woman’s Own.

Seeing the story in the magazine made me want to write more real-life stories. I moved to a regional newspaper as a senior features writer, but always longed to write real-life stories for top selling women’s magazines and national newspapers.

I soon left the newspaper to work for myself and concentrate on writing the stories I love – inspirational, heart-warming, gritty, emotional, tragic, triumphant or simply amazing real-life stories.

For the last seven years I've written stories for all the top selling women's magazines including Bella, Best, Woman, Woman's Own, Chat, full house!, Take A Break, Real People, love it!, Closer and Reveal, and national newspapers including the Daily Express, Daily Mail, News of the World, The Sun and the Daily Mirror.
